WHY I STARTED BATTERY GUYZ

My journey with recycling started when I was 10 years old, collecting aluminum cans with my grandmother. What began as a simple summer activity grew into a lifelong purpose: finding ways to turn waste into something valuable.

Years later, I launched a cardboard recycling business that supplied retailers like ACE Hardware. But I felt called to do something even bigger — something that could make a lasting difference.

That’s how Battery Guyz was born.

We bring old batteries back to life, offering people a reliable, affordable option that’s better for the planet. This business is rooted in something personal — a mission to build responsibly, serve others, and protect the environment we all share.

And I like to think my grandmother would be proud of how far it’s come.
